DAVID M. FITZPATRICK, Calgary, Alberta – Director and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Fitzpatrick is currently a Director and Chairman of Twin Butte Energy Ltd. From 1996 to 2007, Mr. Fitzpatrick served as President, C.E.O., Director and co-founder of Shiningbank Energy Income Fund which started with a $53 million IPO and production of 2,800 boepd and grew to 25,000 boepd before being sold for $1.7 billion. Prior thereto, Mr. Fitzpatrick was Chief Operating Officer and Senior VP Corporate Development & Gas Marketing at Serenpet Inc. from 1992 to 1996. Mr. Fitzpatrick received his Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Queen’s Unviersity in 1981 and completed the Queen’s Executive Program in 1994.
JIM BROWN, Calgary, Alberta – Director
Mr. Brown is currently Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Elk Valley Coal Partnership and Fording Canadian Coal Trust, a position he was appointed to in October 2005. He has 28 years experience in the oil & gas industry, the past ten years as Chief Financial Officer with High Point Resources Inc., Dorset Exploration Ltd., Richland Petroleum Inc., and Terraquest Energy Inc. Mr. Brown is a director of Culane Energy Inc., and Calgary Handi-Bus Association. He is a member of Financial Executives International Canada, and has served as President of both Calgary and Regina chapters. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Accountant.
JIM SAUNDERS, Calgary, Alberta – President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Saunders is the founder of Twin Butte and was the Company's Chairman since its recapitalization in early 2006 to November 2008 prior to being the Company’s President and C.E.O. Mr. Saunders, an engineer, brings 26 years of diversified technical and managerial experience to the position and has previously been President and C.E.O. of three successful, growth oriented public junior oil and gas companies and most recently provided advisory services to various Western Canadian companies.
MURRAY SINCLAIR, Vancouver, British Columbia – Director
Mr. Sinclair is currently the Chairman and a director of Quest Capital Corp., a mortgage investment corporation listed on the TSX and NYSE AMEX. Prior to his current position, Mr. Sinclair also served as Co-Chairman and Managing Director. Mr. Sinclair has extensive knowledge in areas of asset backed lending, real estate, corporate restructuring and natural resources. He is also a director and officer of several other public companies. Mr. Sinclair received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
WARREN STECKLEY, Calgary, Alberta – Director
Mr. Steckley is President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Barnwell of Canada, Limited, an oil and gas company and wholly owned subsidiary of Barnwell Industries Inc., a public company which trades on the American Stock Exchange. Mr. Steckley is currently a director of Wild River Resources, a private oil and gas company. Mr. Steckley is a Professional Engineer with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and in addition holds a Masters of Business Administration degree, also from the University of Alberta.
BILL TRICKET, Calgary, Alberta – Director
Mr. Trickett has 39 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including over 20 years in executive capacities with a number of publicly traded companies, most recently as President and CEO of Buffalo Resources Corp. and its predecessor company Fogo Resources Inc. Mr. Trickett founded Fogo in 2002 and grew the company from 150 bopd to approximately 3000 bopd at the time of its recent amalgamation with Twin Butte Energy Ltd. Prior to that he was the President and CEO of Morgan Hydrocarbons Inc., which during his tenure grew from 750 bopd in 1997 to approximately 23,000 bopd at the time it was acquired in late 1996. Mr. Trickett received a BSc. From Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1968 and a BSc. In Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia in 1970.
